Privacy Policy

What’s collected, why, and how it’s handled — across the website, My Music Rider, Realtors Buddy, and everything sold as a digital product.

Effective Aug 12, 2026 My Music Rider Realtors Buddy Book & Complete Course itygr.com

Overview

Who this covers, in plain terms

This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, why, and how it’s used across everything Tyler Grieve publishes under itygr.com — the website and blog, the mobile apps My Music Rider and Realtors Buddy, and digital products including The Music Reformation (book) and The Complete Course (sold via Gumroad).

The short version: most of what you enter into the apps stays on your device. Where data does leave your device — an app account, a purchase, a blog comment — the sections below say exactly what’s collected and why.

This policy is written in plain language rather than dense legal boilerplate.

My Music Rider

iOS app · stage plots, patchlists & rider builder

Data collected
CategoryWhat & why
Contact infoName and email address, tied to your account, used to sync your shows and manage your subscription.
User contentYour patchlists, stage plots, monitor mixes, equipment lists, and show files — stored so they sync across your devices via iCloud.
IdentifiersA user ID associated with your account, used to keep your data separated from other users’ and to manage subscription entitlements.

How syncing works

Show data syncs across your devices using Apple’s iCloud. That data is stored under your own iCloud account and subject to Apple’s own privacy practices for iCloud — Tyler Grieve does not separately copy, sell, or share your show files.

Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions (unlimited shows) are billed and managed entirely through Apple’s App Store — payment details are handled by Apple, never seen by Tyler Grieve directly.

What isn’t collected

No advertising SDKs, no location data, and no third-party analytics are used in My Music Rider.

Realtors Buddy

iOS app · commission calculator, lead CRM & closing checklists

Data collected
CategoryWhat & why
Your leads & CRM dataClient names, deal details, checklist progress — entered by you, stored only on your device. Nothing you type into the CRM is uploaded, collected, or sold.
Coarse locationApproximate location, used to support state-specific closing-checklist content and by the advertising SDK below.
IdentifiersA device identifier, used by the advertising SDK for ad delivery and measurement.
Usage & advertising dataHow you interact with the app, used by Google AdMob (see below) to serve and measure ads.
DiagnosticsCrash reports and performance data, used to fix bugs.

Advertising: Google AdMob

Realtors Buddy is free and supported by advertising through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers, coarse location, and usage data to serve and measure ads, under Google’s own Privacy Policy and AdMob data disclosure.

What stays local

Your leads, commission calculations, and checklist data are stored only on your device and are not part of any account or cloud sync.

Purchases

The Music Reformation · The Complete Course · future digital products

Purchases are processed through payment platforms Tyler Grieve doesn’t build or control directly:

  • The Music Reformation paperback — sold through the shopping cart on ainastudios.org, a program of ʻAina Studios (Ends of the Earth Media Inc.), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Order and shipping details are handled by that site’s cart provider.
  • The Complete Course and other digital downloads — sold through itygr.gumroad.com. Gumroad is the merchant of record and handles all checkout and payment processing under its own Privacy Policy.

What Tyler Grieve sees from a purchase is limited to your name, email address, and order record — used to deliver your product, respond to support requests, and keep basic sales records. Payment card details are never seen or stored — they’re handled entirely by the payment processor.

Website & blog

itygr.com

itygr.com is hosted on WordPress.com. Basic visit analytics (pages viewed, referring sites, approximate location by country/region, device type) are collected automatically through WordPress.com’s built-in Jetpack Stats. If you leave a comment on a blog post, your name, email, and comment text are stored to display and moderate the comment.

Some posts that also appear on ainastudios.org/field-notes are published as full duplicates on both sites — each site’s own analytics apply independently to that copy.

Your rights

Access, correction & deletion

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data described above. For anything stored in Tyler Grieve’s own records (account contact info, purchase records), reach out using the contact below and it will be handled directly. For data held by Apple, iCloud, Google AdMob, or Gumroad, their own account settings and privacy tools are the fastest way to manage it.

You can also delete an app entirely to remove any locally-stored data (Realtors Buddy’s CRM data, for example) from your device.
